August is here already, signaling the end of summer is on the way, except in Florida, where our summers seem never-ending. It's the last chance to get in those last few family gatherings before the kids go back to school, maybe sneak in a last minute mini-vacation or two. Go to the beach, enjoy the sunshine and kick back. We ll be back to the old grind before you know it.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my upcoming book, THEN THERE WERE FIVE. A single young woman gives up her lifestyle when her sister dies leaving three young children in her care. As her life settles into a nice routine, she's hit with demands from a grandfather who cut his son out of his life when he married a woman he didn't approve of. He demands she turn over the kids ... and the two million in funds she was left with. After being rejected, he tries intimidation, stalking, kidnapping and a number of illegal activities to ensure she submits to his demands. When nothing works, his only recourse is take her to court for custody. It becomes a game of cat and mouse to the very end. Release is set for the last of August.

THE LADIES OF SUMMER PLACE: CHARLAYE is emerging quite well. Her old courtroom nemesis is asking for her help, insisting she's the only one who can, even though she's a defense attorney not a prosecutor. More on that later. I'm looking at October/November release date.

ANASTASIA'S MOUNTAIN is slow-going as I have a lot of irons in the fire. This is all about a young woman who as a young child lost her parents and placed in foster care. Then when she turns eighteen, she finds she's the owner of a massive mountain which becomes her primary residence and more. I've thrown everything into this one.

The FAIRE WHIMSY BLEU trilogy is a paranormal-type series. I'm compelled to write one more story for her. I've entitled this one WHIMSY: ONE LAST TIME since it will be the last in series. There's more shenanigans on the horizon in the small town of Delight for Faire Whimsy Bleu.

I've added a few more to my schedule, writing a page here and there. Tangled Web, Dancing in the Moonlight and a yet-to-be titled story.

Naturally, there is always a little murder, a little deceit and a little mystery in all my stories. And, I can't leave out a love story thrown into the mix. More coming up soon.
