Synopsis

Dead bodies follow Harlowe Montgomery like dirt on a little boy. Her planned vacation on a pleasure cruise turns into an unpleasant affair when she discovers six dead passengers lined up in deck chairs just waiting to be found. Port authorities and crime investigators are waiting when the ship docks and being a civilian, she’s unable to obtain any information, even from Detective Jake Diamond since he has no jurisdiction over the case.

Turning to her streetwise friends to aid in her quest, she sets out to learn the truth but with every curve in the road, she turns up offenses in the making—kidnappings, muggings, and stalkings—that, not only brings out her protective nature, but makes her so angry she’ll stop at nothing to bring the perpetrators to justice. How to determine who is behind all the crimes is going to be her greatest feat yet.
